Citizens Report about Dams and Tunnels
‘Do these power projects make economic sense, or any sense at all?’
Several organisations from Uttarakhand gathered information from dozens of villages and published a citizens report about all the problems the people got by the dams and tunnels. It gives a lot of names of farmers who lost their lands and numbers of houses which got cracks by the tunnels and springs which dried up. But it also tells the stories of the resistance. The report is a fundament for the ongoing campaign to save the rivers, lands and forests of the Uttarakhand people. Read more or go to How to Make a Citizens' Report
