Kimsar in Rajaji National Park, near Rishikesh

The land is very fertile in the Kimsar area. The farmers don't need to use any chemicals, so the agriculture is completely organic. There is almost no irrigation. They grow traditional millets here. They also have cattle.

  Terraces. Many of them are abandoned because youngsters often move to the towns and cities.
